The Yale baseball team will open its season today when it plays the New York University team at Yale Field. The Yale team has been handicapped in its early practice owing to the weather but has developed rapidly in the last few days.

The Yale team will probably play as follows: c., Carhart or Burdett; p., Freeman or Scott; 1b., Reilly; 2b., Stillwell; s.s., Loutrel; 3b., Merritt; l.f., Stevens; c.f., Tommers; r.f., Corey, captain.
