All essays for the Bowdoin Prizes should be left at the office of the Secretary of the Faculty, University 20, before 1 o'clock today. Between 1 and 6 o'clock they may be left at the house of the Chairman of the Committee, Professor E. K. Rand, 107 Lake View avenue. No essay will be accepted after 6 o'clock.
Today is also the last day for submitting applications for second-year honors and theses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 1911 in the divisions of ancient languages, of modern languages, and of history and political science. Applications for second-year honors will be received at University 4, while theses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must be handed to the chairmen of the respective divisions under which they are submitted.
