William Jennings Bryan, of Lincoln, Neb., editor of the Commoner, and three times Democratic candidate for the Presidency, will speak on "Public Speaking and Politics" in New Lecture Hall this afternoon at 3.40 o'clock. Mr. Bryan, whose presence at Harvard is due to the efforts of Professor I.L. Winter '86, of the Public Speaking Department, will lecture under the auspices of the Speakers' Club, and will be introduced by its president, H. Brightman '11. Seats in the centre section of the hall will be reserved for officers of the University, the Speakers' Club, the Democratic Club, and the W.E. Russell Club. The lecture will be open to members of the University only.
