In the championship wrestling meet of the New England Association held at Woburn last night F.L. Cooper 2L, was the only University entry to be placed, being thrown in the finals by Bjorkland, the champion in the 158-pound class.
The results were as follows:
In the 135-pound class E. Ottie '11 threw W. Stewart, and was defeated by I. Hakanson.
W.D. Wile 2L., gained a decision over J. Ryan in the 145-pound class, but in the second round lost to G. Heilin.
In the 158-pound class, G.D. Osgood '12, threw H. Pitman in 3.58 minutes, but was thrown by Bjorkland in 3.18 minutes. R.M. Page 1L., lost to Bjorkland on a decision. Cooper, by throwing D. Mac-Naughton and E. Ginn and drawing a bye, got into the finals, but was defeated by Bjorkland in 3.18 minutes.
