Miss Alice Nielsen, one of the leading sopranos of the Metropolitan and Boston opera companies, will give a benefit concert under the auspices of the Harvard Edda Club in Jordan Hall, this evening at 8 o'clock. Miss Nielsen will be assisted by the Pierian Sodality, the Swedish Singing Society Harmoni, and Mr. Henry Eichheim. Tickets at $1.50, $1, 75 cents, and 50 cents are on sale at Jordan Hall, and at the Co-operative Branch.

With the proceeds of this concert, the Edda Club intends to start a fund which will eventually reach $5,000. This sum will be used for a scholarship to be held by a Scandinavian student in the University who shall also give classes in English to Swedish and Norwegian members of the Prospect Union.
