Secretary Meyer in Union Tomorrow

Hon. George vonL. Meyer '79, Secretary of the Navy, will speak on. "The Navy" in the Living Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture will be illustrated by lantern slides of naval views. It will be open to members of the Union only.

Mr. Meyer has been Secretary of the Navy in President Taft's cabinet since March 6, 1909. Previous to that he was Postmaster-General from 1907 to 1909, under President Roosevelt. As Secretary of the Navy he has rendered that department of the national defence more effective as a fighting machine than it has ever been before.
