The University association football team played a tie game with the General Electric Company team, of Lynn, on Soldiers Field, yesterday afternoon, the score being 1 to 1. Only the excellent individual playing of the University team prevented a larger score. The first goal was made by Spence after the Lynn forwards had carried the ball from the middle of the field. Greene made the only score for the University team from a scrimmage in front of the Lynn goal.
The summary: Score--Harvard, 1; Lynn, 1. Goals--Spence, Greene. Referee--Williams. Linesmen--Burgess and Milton. Time--45 and 35-minute periods.
