Seventh Lecture on Social Problem

Frederick C. Howe, of Cleveland, Ohio, will deliver the seventh of the series of lectures on "The Social Problem and its Remedies" in Emerson D this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. His subject will be "The Problem in Government." The lecture will be open to the public.

Mr. Howe is secretary of the National Progressive Republican League, an organization lately formed to propagate the ideas of the insurgents in the regular party. He has been active in city and state affairs and was a member of the Ohio Senate between 1906 and 1909. He is the author of a number of books on municipal subjects and has lectured at Cleveland College, Western Reserve University, and the University of Wisconsin.
