Crews Delayed by Cold Weather

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The work of the University and Freshman crews has thus far been somewhat retarded owing to the fact that the ice has remained in the river this year two weeks later than usual. It is expected that a few days of continued warm weather or rain will permit of the crews being launched. Since the University eight is a particularly heavy one, and the work in the tank has a tendency to make the men slow, it is of the greatest importance that the crew get out on the river as soon as possible.

The permanent order of the University crew so far has been, stroke, Goodale; 7, R. Cutler; 6, Strong; 5, Withington; 4, Newton; 3, Metcalf; 2, Stratton; bow, Balch.

There has been as yet no regular order in the Freshman crew.
