The committee of the Faculty, appointed to nominate candidates for the French Fellowship and Scholarships, has issued an invitation to all persons interested to attend a meeting in Emerson A at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The places over which this committee has supervision are the Fellowship of the French Ministry of Public Instruction, a scholarship at the Ecole Libre des Sciences Politiques, Paris, and a position as Lecteur d'Anglais at the University of Lyons and at the University of Bordeaux. J. Weare 1G.B., R. Withington '06, and R. Bosc, Fellow of the Cercle Francais, members of the committee and past lecteurs, will explain fully the nature of the work in each place, the special opportunities offered, and the requisites for each position. These opportunities cover a wide field for work along diversified lines, and should be of interest to many men other than those primarily studying language and literature.
