Lecture on "The Panama Canal"

Farnham Bishop 2G., of Ancon, Canal Zone, Panama, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "The Panama Canal," under the auspices of the Speakers' Club, in Fogg Lecture Room this evening at 8 o'clock.

Mr. Bishop will speak on the social and engineering side of the work, out-lining the history, development, and present status of the Panama question, by means of lantern slides taken in the Canal Zone by Mr. F. E. Farnsworth. Mr. Bishop is the son of Mr. J. B. Bishop, secretary of the Isthmian Canal Commission, a well-known authority on present conditions in Panama. The lecture is open to all members of the University.
