1914 Scrimmage with Brookline

The Freshman hockey team held a thirty-minute scrimmage with the Brookline Hockey Club in the Boston Arena last evening, the score being 4 to 4. The Freshman team was more aggressive and outplayed Brookline, but the good work of Gardner at goal prevented several scores. The forwards, however, failed to pass the puck often enough, while the coverpoint and point were slow in following back, thus leaving the goal unprotected. Sortwell and Adams played the best game for the Freshmen.
