Drawless Bridge Bill Passed House

The House of Representatives of the United States on the motion of Representative Washburn of Worcester passed the bill which allows for the construction of a drawless bridge with a twelve foot clearance over the Charles River at Boylston street, yesterday afternoon. The Senate passed this bill February 9, and it will become law when signed by the President. It will then remain for local authorities to conduct the arrangements for the construction of the bridge.
