Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
At a meeting of the Athletic Committee last night Dr. Channing Frothingham '02 was appointed as medical adviser of the University baseball and track teams for the coming spring. P. Withington '09, assistant graduate treasurer of athletics, was appointed to select a professional coach for the association football team. The recommendation of the Student Council that the University "H" should not yet be awarded to the members of the hockey team was accepted.
A letter inviting the University track team to spend the April recess in training at Annapolis was received from that institution, and it is very probable that it will either be accepted or the team will be sent to Philadelphia at that time. It is also likely that the Freshman track team will hold a dual meet with the Dartmouth freshmen at Cambridge on the same day that the University team competes against Dartmouth.
The following schedule was approved for the second University baseball team:
April 26.--Lawrence High School.
April 29.--Cambridge Latin School.
May 3.--Arlington High School.
May 6.--South Boston High School.
May 10.--Exeter at Exeter.
May 13.--Newton High School at Newton.
May 17.--Waltham High School.
May 20.--Worcester at Worcester.
May 24.--Malden High School at Malden.
May 27.--Groton at Groton.
June 1.--Boston Latin School.
June 3.--Dartmouth 1914 at Hanover.
All games unless otherwise specified will be played in Cambridge.
