Third Triangular Debate on April 3

The subject for the third annual triangular debate between Harvard, Yale, and Princeton has been announced as follows: "Resolved, That all elective state officers should be nominated by direct primaries."

The debate will be held on April 3. One team representing the University will uphold the negative against Yale in Sanders Theatre and the other University team will uphold the affirmative against Princeton at Princeton. First and second trials will be held on February 21 and 24, respectively. Twelve men will be retained who will be divided by lot into four teams. There will be two debates between these teams on successive nights as a result of which the best six men will be chosen to compose the University teams. All members of the University who expect to enter the trials should send their names to F. A. Mahoney '12, Walter Hastings 12, before February 20.
