Practice was somewhat lighter for the University hockey squad in the Arena last evening than it has been for several days. After the usual preliminary shooting and skating practice, two teams were picked from the second string men and lined up against one another for a 15-minute scrimmage. Then the first team was given a 20-minute scrimmage with the second in which it scored three goals to the second's none. Although play was noticeably slower than on Tuesday, the forward line continued to keep together well. Palmer scored two of the goals by well-placed shots from scrimmages and Sortwell made the other.
