A board running track on Holmes Field has been under process of construction for the past few days and will be ready for use on Monday. A circular track, 130 yards to the lap, has been constructed, and in addition to this there will be a 50-yard straightaway. The track is located on the tennis courts immediately north of Langdell Hall.
Candidates for the University and Freshman teams except those who have been on the football or cross-country squads this fall, will be expected to report on Monday at the track, where Coach Donovan will be every afternoon between 2.45 and 5 o'clock.
Regular track work in preparation for the winter season will begin immediately after the Christmas recess.
