WAS UNANIMOUS CHOICE AT MEETING OF FOOTBALL "H" MEN HELD YESTERDAY.

At a meeting of the University foot ball team held yesterday afternoon Percy Langdon Wendell '13, of Jamaica Plain, was elected captain for 1912.

Wendell prepared for College at Roxbury Latin School where he was on the team for four years, playing both in the backfield and at tackle. He was right halfback on his Freshman team, and has played the same position on the University team for the past two years. The last two seasons he has been generally recognized as the best line plunging back in the country, and has been twice chosen by Walter Camp for halfback on the All-American team. He is 21 years old, 5 feet 6 2-3 inches tall, and weighs 177 pounds.

The captain and members of the football team also voted that the Athletic Committee be recommended to award the football "H" to Robert Murray Blackall '12, of Cambridge.
