Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
Preliminary practice for the University hockey squad is about over, and with the football men, Captain Huntington, Blackall, Gardner, and Willetts, reporting for work in a short time, the development of a team will be begun in earnest. Although prospects are not as bright as they were in the early fall, owing to the ineligibility of Clifford and Hopkins, two of the best forwards in the University, because of deficiencies in studies, a successful team, if not a championship one, should be formed from the available material.
At present Wingate, Duncan, Palmer, and Sortwell seem the most likely men for the forward line, although there is some talk of shifting Huntington up from the defence. The defence is entirely undecided since most of the strongest men for the positions have not reported yet. Smart and Carnochan at goal, and Houston at coverpoint have shown up well in practice. The men have had much valuable training from scrimmages against the B. A. A. team.
