SHORT FRESHMAN PRACTICE

Hardwick and Logan Back in Line-up After Long Absence.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team was given short practice yesterday afternoon. After a blackboard talk by Coach Dewey the linemen were drilled in the usual charging tactics. This was followed by a long dummy scrimmage between the first team and the substitutes, after which the teams separated for signal practice. Hardwick and Logan were again in the backfield after a long absence.

The team was given a thorough try-out in the game with Worcester on Saturday, and has developed into one of the hardest-fighting and most efficient that has represented a Freshman class for several years. The first team lined up in the following order: l.e., Coolidge; l.t., Trumbull; l.g., Iselin; c., Wigglesworth; r.g., Pennock; r.t., Atkinson; r.e., Weatherhead; q.b., Logan; l.h.b., Bradlee; r.h.b., Hardwick; f.b., Brickley.
