The Freshman football team defeated Worcester Academy at Worcester on Saturday by the score of 12 to 0. The Freshman line played a hard, steady game showing considerable improvement over the work in the Princeton game last week, while the substitute backfield proved itself quite the equal of Worcester's.
Harvard's first score came toward the close of the second period when Brickley made a pretty field-goal from the 20-yard line. A few minutes later the Freshmen had worked the ball to Worcester's 10-yard line, and it took just three rushes for Brickley to cross the goal-line. It could not be counted as a score, however, owing to pushing the man with the ball. One more field-goal and a touchdown, all by Brickley, completed the scoring.
The summary: Score--Harvard 1915, 12; Worcester Academy, 0. Touchdown -- Brickley. Goal from touchdown -- Brickley. Goal from field -- Brickley 2. Referee -- J. Baldwin, Dartmouth.
