FALL BASEBALL PRACTICE

Candidates Have Received Much Individual Coaching in Actual Play.

This year's fall practice for the University baseball squad has been very successful in every way. Each man has been given a chance to show his ability, and in many cases a player has been tried out in several different positions. The squad has been reduced from 41 to 26 by 3 cuts this fall. At the beginning of spring practice all of the present squad will be called out with the addition of several men now engaged in other sports. The regular routine of practice has been carried on and about 15 games have been played between two selected teams. This has given Dr. Sexton a very good opportunity to judge the ability of the individual players and to compare their work.
