Scrub Lacrosse Games This Fall

Interest in lacrosse will be increased this fall by the fact that a series of scrub games will be held among a number of teams picked from the candidates who report during the next few weeks. This series will resemble the Leiter Cup series of spring baseball games. Mr. Russell A. Wood '03, manager of the University lacrosse team in 1903, has offered individual cups to each member of the winning team. As the teams will be picked very soon, it is essential that candidates report regularly.

Captain Nash of last year's championship team, and S. Smith '09, who coached the Freshman team last spring have been assisting the new men this week. About 50 candidates have already reported.
