Hard work for Freshman Team

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman team was put through one of the hardest practices o the season yesterday afternoon. An hour was spent in drilling the backs in putting out ends, running down under punts, and in interfering on simple end runs. Then the first team held a half-hour signal practice in which more snap was evidenced than at any time this year. The men started quickly and the plays were run off smoothly.

A scrimmage lasting 30 minutes between Teams A and B followed the signal work. The first team scored at once and was then given the ball in various parts of the field. Team B was weak on the defence and was unable to make any headway when given the ball. Frothingham, Bradlee, and Hardwick were kept out of the scrimmage on account of minor injuries.
