The voluntary gymnasium class, conducted by Mr. Schrader in the Hemenway Gymnasium every afternoon except Saturday, has had a daily attendance of nearly 75 men, as compared with about 40 members last year, showing a growing interest in indoor exercise and gymnastic work. Many men who are unable to give sufficient time to athletics to go to Soldiers Field in the afternoons find this hour, from 5 to 6 o'clock, a pleasant and profitable one to spend exercising in this way. Mr. Schrader's class should be especially popular in bad weather, and may be particularly recommended to students of the Law School and others who, because of afternoon laboratory work are unable to get away to exercise early.
