McGILL HOCKEY GAME AT 8.15

In Boston Arena.--Canadian Seven Composed of Fast Veteran Players.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University hockey team will play its fourth scheduled game in the Arena this evening at 8.15 o'clock, when it meets the McGill team of Montreal. Tickets, at 50 and 75 cents and $1 each, may be obtained at the door. Tickets at 75 cents may also be had at Leavitt & Peirce's until noon.

Harvard has played McGill twice before. Four years ago McGill won, 8 to 2, but Harvard was victorious three years ago by the same score. The Canadian team is a strong one, made up largely of veterans.

The line-ups: HARVARD.  McGILL. Leslie, l.e.  r.e., Sargent Duncan, l.c.  r.c., Blair Hornblower, r.c.  l.c., Davison Seamans, r.e.  l.e., Scott Huntington, c.p.  c.p., Cassels Foster, p.  p., Moseley Chadwick, g.  g., Woodwatt

Boston Hockey Club Beat Second, 1 to 0.

Practice for the first team yesterday afternoon consisted only of a hard half-hour's preliminary drill. After the regulars left the ice the second team had a fast scrimmage with the Boston Hockey Club, the latter winning 1 to 0. The second team played well and there was no scoring till near the close of the period. Much of the play was round the second's goal, but the good work of the defence prevented scores. Boston's goal was made by Townsend from a scrimmage in front of the cage.

The line-ups: SECOND TEAM.  BOSTON HOCKEY CLUB, Gorham, l.e.  r.e., Foster Pierce, l.c.  r.c., Winsor Childs, r.c.  l.c., Townsend Pratt, r.e.  l.e., Hicks Houston, c.p.  c.p., Goodrich Blackall, p.  p., Graustein Gardner, g.  g., Canterbury
