The University chorus which has recently been organized by professor Max Friedlaender, of the University of Berlin, will hold its next rehearsal in Fogg Art Museum, Monday evening at 8 o'clock. It is the purpose of those in charge of the chorus to make it similar to those existing among the students in German universities. The organization has the support of the Faculty and its is proposed to have it sing on Commencement and Class Days and also to give concerts in the Union throughout the winter months. The aim of the organizers of the chorus is to interest a large number of men who are fond of singing rather than to limit the membership to a very few whose vocal qualifications are exceptional.
Thus far not nearly enough men have been reporting. In order that the project may be successful Professor Friedlaender needs at least a hundred voices and as many more as possible, to assist him. To insure the success of an organization which could make itself a source of much pleasure it is earnestly hoped that all men who are now able to sing in the chorus or who would care to go through the preliminary work necessary to make them eligible will attend the next rehearsal.
