The University hockey team had its last scrimmage before the Princeton game at the Arena last night against the Boston Hockey Club was greatly handicapped by the absence of Townsend, who was injured in the game with Providence last Wednesday.
All four goals for the University team were scored by excellent team-play on the part the forwards. Pierce, who is being tried out at left wing, fits in well with the combinations but is not accurate on long shots.
