Dr. J. B. Carter, Director of the American School of Classical Studies in Rome, will give the second of his series of lectures on the general subject "The Religious Life of the Romans from the Foundation of the City until the Death of Gregory the Great," under the auspices of the Lowell Institute, 491 Boylston street, Boston, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The special topic for the lecture today is, "Rome and Greece; the Religion of Beauty and the Decline of Faith." The lectures will be public.
