At a special meeting of the Governing Board of the Harvard Union held yesterday, the following resolution was passed on the death of Jacob Christian, the head-waiter of the Union:
"Resolved, That the Governing Board express on behalf of the members of the Union its deep regret at the loss of Jacob Christian, who has been a most faithful and efficient servant ever since he became connected with the Union."
