In the ninth Murphy, for Malden, reached first on an error, took second and third on two successive outs, and scored when Wooley was safe at first on a misplay. The next man was safe on an error and Letherman's three-bagger brought both men home. Long pitched a good game for Harvard, striking out nine men.
