Owing to the rain yesterday afternoon, the second game of the Harvard-Brown series could not be played, and as Brown meets Holy Cross this afternoon, the game has been cancelled. As Harvard won the first game, the University team is, therefore, entitled to a victory in the series.
Today the University team will leave for New Haven, to remain until the first game of the Yale series next Tuesday on Yale Field. The team will be quartered at Morris Cove, just outside New Haven, and will have practice on Yale Field on Monday afternoon.
The following men will leave by the 10 o'clock train from the South Station: S. C. Boyer '10, G. W. Chase '11, G. P. Gardner, Jr., '10, S. T. Hicks '10, C. L. Lanigan '10, E. V. Long '10, W. M. Minot '11, R. S. Potter '12, H. A. Rogers '11, W. Young '12, Coach L. P. Pieper '03, Manager P. Wyman '10, and Trainer McCloskey. The following men, who have examinations today, will leave by the 5 o'clock train. R. C. Babson '12, J. P. Carr '11, R. S. Marshall '10, C. B. McLaughlin '11, H. E. Reeves '12, and Assistant Managers G. E. Jones '11 and Y. Arai '12. On Monday R. C. Brown '10 will join the team. Those members of the team who leave this morning will attend the Yale Cornell game in New Haven this afternoon as the guests of the Yale management.
