The University lacrosse team will play Hobart in the Stadium at 4 o'clock this afternoon, in the third game of the northern division of the intercollegiate championship series. On Saturday Hobart defeated Columbia 10 to 1, and on Monday Cornell beat Columbia 11 to 0. This is Harvard's first game in the series.

The Hobart team is a strong one, nearly all of last year's men being available. The University team has progressed very rapidly during the last week. The offence is especially strong; but the defence, which is composed, with the exception of two, entirely of new men, is somewhat weaker. Nevertheless the men are playing together very well.

The line-ups will be as follows: Hale, p.  i.h., Irish Leavitt, c.p.  o.h., Church E. Morgan, 1d.  1a., Herendeen Fitc, 2d.  2a., Bronson Nash, 3d.  3a., Prophet, Hancock Alexander, c.  c., Dwinelle Gustafson, See, 3a.  3d., Quinn Blackett, 2a.  2d., Cook R. P. Smith, 1a.  1d., Wheat J. P. Morgan, o.h.  c.p., Lowman Shaw, i.h.  p., Donnel, Warner Brightman, g.  g., Barrymore
