The Freshman baseball team defeated Somerville High School on Soldiers Field yesterday by the score of 8 to 3. The Freshmen played a good game and showed ability to hit when needed. Hardy pitched very well, allowing only one hit.

Holbrook and Sullivan both got runs in the next inning on a hit by Brown. A few minutes later Tomes brought in Coon on a clean hit to right field. Booth made the last run for the Freshmen in the ninth. Only one of Somerville's runs was earned, the other two being made on errors.
