The eighth annual Henley Regatta of the American Rowing Association will be held in Philadelphia today. The second University crew, which is entered in two races, left on the Federal Express Thursday night for Philadelphia, where they are staying at the Aldine Hotel. They practiced twice yesterday.
This afternoon the crew will race twice. The first race will be against Georgetown and the University of Pennsylvania for the Stewards' Challenge Cup. The second will be the New England Challenge Cup race, in which the second University crew will row against the junior collegiate eights of Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. The order of the second University crew for the races will be as follows: stroke, Forster; 7, Metcalf; 6, Strong; 5, Hooper; 4, Smith; 3, Loring; 2, Waite; bow, Wiggins; cox., Vorhees.
