The second round of the interclass tennins tournament, which was played on Jarvis and Soldiers Fields yesterday, resulted as follows:
1910.--J. Wheelwright defeated R. MacVeagh, by default; E. L. Beard, Jr., defeated F. S. Blanchard, 6-3, 6-4; A. S. Dabney defeated T. A. Townsend, Jr., 6-0, 6-3.
1911.--J. R. Tunis defeated E. H. Winslow, 6-3, 7-5; E. M. Ach defeated P. H. Babcock, by default; A. Sweetser defeated F. P. Abbott, 6-1, 6-4.
1912.--J. R. Pratt defeated J. H. Pettus, 8-6, 6-0; L. I. Grinnell defeated H. B. Ehrmann, 6-3, 6-3; A. Richard defeated R. H. Bolling, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
1913.--E. S. Harrington defeated H. P. U. Alsop, by default; Q. A. S. McKean defeated H. G. Smith, 6-3, 6-4; C. C. Kimball defeated C. E. Miller, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3; J. W. Davis defeated P. H. Wellman, 6-4, 6-1; G. Sturgis defeated R. T. Pratt, 6-1, 6-4; N. E. Paine, Jr., defeated H. S. McKee, 6-2, 7-5; S. Minot defeated B. Smith, 6-0, 6-3.
The following matches have been arranged for this afternoon. The results must be posted before 6 o'clock on the score card in the CRIMSON Office, otherwise both contestants will be considered out of the tournament. Owing to the Princeton match tomorrow, no games have been scheduled for the Seniors and Juniors.
