The Freshman baseball team defeated Dorchester High School in a practice game of seven innings on Soldiers Field yesterday by the score of 6 to 5. This was the first game the Freshmen have played this season and the work was very ragged.

In the first four innings the Freshmen played well together and Hardy pitched a very good game. In the fifth inning, however, he weakened and Dorchester tied the score. In the sixth Dorchester made several errors which allowed the Freshmen to score and to win the game by one run.

The score by innings: Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7 R. H. E. Harvard 1913,  1  0  0  0  4  1  x--6 2 6 Dorchester,  0  0  0  0  5  0  0--5 3 12
