Springfield Won Soccer Game, 4 to 0

The University association football team was defeated by the Springfield Training School at Springfield Saturday in a poorly played game by a score of 4 to 0. Owing to the absence of Houston, Seamans, and Paul, Harvard was obliged to line up with one substitute and two Springfield men in the game. The field was very narrow and the frequency of outsides hindered consistent team-work. Cushing and Leland did the best work for Harvard.
