Geological Excursion During Recess

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A geological and geographical excursion to Catskill, N. Y., is planned for the first days of the spring recess by Professors W. M. Davis '69 and D. W. Johnson, and Mr. F. H. Lahee 3G., in company with some of their students and a number of instructors and students from other institutions. The locality offers excellent opportunity for the study of geological structure, especially folding of the Appalachian Mountain type; for the collection of fossils; and for the description of topographical features.

The expenses for the round trip, including stop at Catskill, are estimated at between $15 and $22, according to the time spent in the field. Students who desire to join the party should give their names to Mr. Lahee, who may be found any afternoon this week except Saturday in the Geological Museum, Room 23.
