The University baseball squad practiced on the University diamond yesterday for the first time this season. Team A defeated team B in a rather loosely played game of nine innings by the score of 6 to 2. The battery was the same for both teams; for the first four innings Beaman pitched and Brown caught; in the beginning of the fifth, Ohler and Howe took their places.
