The University association football team was defeated Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field by a team from the Wood Worsted Mill of Lawrence, the score being 3 to 1. Leland and Chadwick excelled on the offence for Harvard and Cushing on the defence. Score--Wood Worsted Mill, 3; Harvard, 1. Goals--Garnnett, Martin, Chadwick, Tart. Referee and timekeeper--S. Smith.
