The second annual indoor meet of the Harvard Athletic Association will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The object of the meet is to arouse interest in the indoor minor sports. Admission is free to all members of the University.
There will be the following events: the University wrestling championships in five classes; the College fencing championships; an exhibition of work with the parallel and horizontal bars, rings, and tumbling by the University gymnastic team; and an exhibition of duelling sword work by members of the University. Owing to the number of entries in the various classes of wrestling, preliminaries will be held in the Wrestling Room of the Gymnasium tomorrow afternoon. All wrestlers must weigh in at the Gymnasium at 3.30 o'clock tomorrow, after which the drawings will be made and the preliminary bouts will take place. Two pounds overweight will be allowed in each class. All wrestlers who have not taken strength test since January 1, should do so this afternoon between 2 and 4 o'clock.
A cup will be awarded to the winner of the fencing tournament and to the winner of the following five wrestling classes: 115-pounds, 135-pounds, 145-pounds, and 158-pounds; there will also be two cups awarded to the winner of the heavyweight events. In connection with this meet, the prizes of all the following meets which have been held this year will be awarded: fall and Freshman track meets, fall and class tennis tournaments, interclass basketball series, scrub hockey series, and the winners in the winter track carnival.
