At the first annual indoor handicap meet of the 8th Company Coast Artillery Corps, at the South Armory, Saturday night, the Harvard men entered won two firsts, three seconds, and three thirds. M. Steinhardt '11 won both the firsts; in the 75-yard, with a handicap of 9 feet, in 7 4-5 seconds, and in the 75-yard invitation dash in the same time. F. H. de Selding '10, running from scratch, got second place in the 440-yard dash; H. Jaques, Jr., '11, with a handicap of 5 yards, was second in the 880-yard run; and P. H. Keays '13 with a handicap of 4 feet 2 inches, won second place in the 16-pound shot-put, with a put of 43 feet 3 inches. In the one-mile run, P. Newton '11, with a handicap of 65 yards, was third; P. M. G. Austin '13, in the 75-yard invitation dash, got third place; and H. L. Goddard '10, with a handicap of 3 feet 3 inches, and with a put of 42 feet 6 1-2 inches, won third place in the 16-pound shot-put.
