Spring football practice will begin on Monday, March 28, and continue daily until the spring recess.
The character of the work will depend largely upon changes of the football rules, which will be decided March 25, when the Rules Committee will meet. In case the rules are not completed at that time, the first two weeks will be devoted to elementary principles of football, such as punting, catching punts, tackling, and centres passing the ball.
It is absolutely necessary for everyone who expects to try for the team next year to make his plans so that he will be able to come out March 28, excepting those who are on the University or Freshman squads in rowing, baseball, or track. Much attention will be given to individual work which cannot be had next fall. All men who show any ability in punting, drop-kicking, or place-kicking will be given every opportunity for further development.
