The committee appointed by the Corporation to visit the Boylston Chemical Laboratory has lately issued an important and unusually interesting report on the condition of chemistry at Harvard. This sets forth cogently and at length the imperative need of an entirely new plant, consisting of several buildings, for the use of the Department of Chemistry. An effort is now under way to get money sufficient to warrant undertaking the actual construction of these buildings. The committee for the Corporation consists of Dr. J. Collins Warren, '63, Clifford Richardson '77, Professor Morris Crafts '58, and Professor Morris Loeb '83.
