New Courses for Second Half-Year

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences has offered the following four new courses, of which two are courses i research, and to are half-courses for the second half-year.

Botany 11 2hf.-Variation, Heredity, and the Principles of Animal and Plant Breeding.-Lectures and Laboratory work. Half-course (second half-year) Mon., Wed., Fri., at 11. Professor W. E. Castle and Assistant Professor E. M. East.

Course 11 is open to students who have taken Course 1 and Zoology 1. (This course is the same as Zoology 11).

Botany 12 2hf. Variation and Heredity. Advanced studies upon special topics.-Lectures to be given in Cambridge; laboratory work to be given at the Bussey Institution, Jamaica Plain. Half-course (second half-year). Mon., Wed., Fri., hour to be arranged. Assistant Professor E. M. East.

This course is open to students who have taken Course 3b and (after 1909-10) Course 11 or equivalents.

Botany 20f. Variation, Heredity, and the Principles of Plant Breeding. Assistant Professor E. M. East.

Physics 20i. Effects at High Pressures. Dr. P. W. Bridgman.
