Smoking On Trial at Memorial Hall

At a meeting of the University Dining Council held last Monday morning it was voted to allow smoking in Memorial Hall for a trial period of two weeks, beginning with dinner on Monday evening. The Council introduced the privilege subject to the following conditions:

"1. Smoking to be allowed only during dinner, and then only after 6.30 P. M.

"2. The privilege to be allowed for a trial period of two weeks.

"3. The question to be re-submitted to the Hall after two weeks' trial."
