THE HOCKEY VICTORY.

Although the hockey team failed to gain the intercollegiate championship this season, it is none the less to be congratulated upon winning the most important game of the year, defeating Yale by a larger score than did the championship team. It is always gratifying to win the last game, especially when the victory, as in this case, marks a steady improvement in the team.

With six veterans as a nucleus and the pick of the victorious Freshman seven, there is no reason why next year's team should not, by faithful application, win the championship.
