In the dual swimming meet with the University of Pennsylvania held at Philadelphia on Saturday evening. Harvard was defeated by the score of 44 to 9. P. Withington '10 won the only first place for the University team by beating Shryock of Pennsylvania in the 50-yard dash in 27 1-5 seconds. In the 100-yard swim Withington finished third.
