HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
As a result of the election held yesterday the following were chosen officers of the Sophomore class: president, Edward Adolph Graustein, of Cambridge; vice-president, Allen Jewett Lowrey, of Honolulu, Hawaii; secretary-treasurer, William Marshall Elliott Whitlock, of Baltimore, Md. The balloting was as follows: for president, E. A. Graustein 195, A. M. Goodale, 112, S. M. Felton, 3d., 75; for vice-president, A. J. Lowrey 195, A. H. Tomes 102, R. G. Ervin 86; for secretary-treasurer, W. M. E. Whitelock 200, H. B. Gill 182.
The class also ratified the constitution of the new Student Council by a vote of 224 to 60, 99 men not voting.
The following five men were elected to the Student Council: P. L. Wendell, R. P. Lewis, A. M. Goodale, S. M. Felton, 3d., R. B. Batchelder.
